In the splendid setting of a family-run restaurant, surrounded by unmatched views, Marco will teach you the secrets of the Mediterranean diet, the wise use of simple and genuine ingredients and the right combination to wines.
Your Mediterranean cooking classes will be led by Chef Marco. Marco will teach you such typical southern Italian dishes as Sorrento-style gnocchi, stuffed calamari, and Neapolitan-style artichokes. All dishes use the freshest ingredients and recipes that have been passed down for many generations.
Recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010, the Mediterranean diet is inspired by a lifestyle that reduces the risk of some diseases and increases longevity. Ancel Keys, the "discoverer" of the diet, documented that in his book "How to eat well and stay well: the Mediterranean way".
The lesson will be held in late morning with the presentation of an appetizer, a handmade pasta and a dessert and will end with lunch prepared by the guests themselves.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
