Buca di Bacco, a fascinating and curios name rich in tradition and with a story behind it. Literally "Buca" means tavern or cellar and "Bacco" is the god of wine Dyonissus or Bacchus of Greek mythology. in the early '900s, a group of artists and intellectuals, in that period frequent visitors of Positano, gave this name to the cellar of a restaurant at the time used as a romantic and exclusive dance night club.
