Palazzo Belmonte is a sophisticated Historical Residence by the sea. As you drive through the gates and pass through the archway into the beautiful flower filled courtyard, the Palazzo starts to work its magic. A path through the 5 acres of the Palazzo's gardens leads to the 24 meter fresh-water pool surrounded by bougainvillea, and beyond to a small green "secret gate" which leads down to the Palazzo's private golden sandy beach, ideal for children. The Palazzo restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and regional specialties, with the emphasis on the use of fresh-fish, other sea-food and the finest local produce. Romantic dinners take place al fresco on the suspended gardens of the Belvedere overlooking the sea. The bar is located moments from the pool and beach, offering ice creams and light lunches at the Pool-side, or under large white umbrellas. Palazzo Belmonte and the adjoining Edoardo's House occupy three wings of the main building around the courtyard, while a short walk from the Palazzo, in a hidden part of the gardens, is the more modern and informal Villa Belmonte. Villa Belmonte is named after the Prince's daughters and is designed to complement the Historical Palazzo, nestled discreetly within the 5 acres of the Palazzo's lush gardens. The Villa's rooms offer variously patios, terraces, and wonderful views to the sea, combining traditional decoration with a modern private-house style.
